The original brown leather Lady Hurricane became one of our bestselling women’s boots and built an exceptionally loyal following. When production ended, customers continued to ask for its return—so we brought it back with an upgrade worthy of its reputation.
The premium Italian Crazy Horse leather upper is hand-treated with oils and waxes to create its rich colour and unmistakably rustic finish. Sometimes known as saddle leather, Crazy Horse develops lighter tones and subtle markings wherever the leather bends or is handled. These natural variations are part of its character rather than imperfections, ensuring no two pairs look exactly alike.
As the boots are worn, the surface gradually develops a unique patina, becoming richer and more individual with age. Light marks can often be softened simply by rubbing the leather, which redistributes its waxes and oils. With occasional rewaxing, Crazy Horse leather rewards its owner with a beautifully aged appearance that conventional smooth leather cannot replicate.
Behind that distinctive exterior is the dependable performance that made the Hurricane such an enduring favourite. Its waterproof, breathable and windproof membrane is protected within an internal bootie construction, while the bellows tongue and waterproof laces provide further defence against rain and trail debris.
The hard-wearing Vibram rubber outsole delivers dependable grip and durability across mixed terrain. A flexible dual-density midsole absorbs walking impact, while the padded collar, padded tongue and removable insole provide immediate comfort without a lengthy breaking-in period.
A two-zone lacing system allows the forefoot and ankle fit to be adjusted independently, with a locking middle hook helping maintain the correct tension as you walk. Minimal upper seams complement the traditional design while reducing potential wear points.
