Please read these terms carefully before placing an order on our website. These terms apply to all consumer purchases made through www.grisport.co.uk.

Important Notice to Consumers

These terms apply to consumer purchases made through www.grisport.co.uk. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights under UK law, including your 14-day cooling-off right and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Information About Us & The Contract

1.1 We are George Rye & Sons Ltd, trading as Grisport UK. Our registered office and warehouse is at: Lunar House, Unit 1, Easter Park, Baker Road, Nelson Park West, Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 1WQ. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 1222255. Our VAT number is 178945405.

1.2 You can contact us by email at cs@grisport.co.uk, by telephone on 01670 713344, or via our contact page.

1.3 These terms apply to any contract between us for the sale of products to you. When you buy from us, you agree to these terms.

1.4 A contract is formed only when we send you an email confirmation (Dispatch Confirmation). We reserve the right to reject orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or failed security/payment checks, in which case any payments taken will be fully refunded.

02

Prices & Payment

2.1 All prices quoted on our website are in British Pounds (£) and include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate, but exclude delivery charges (which are calculated at checkout).

2.2 Payment is taken securely online at the time of order via our approved payment providers (including major credit/debit cards and digital wallets).

2.3 If a discount code or promotional voucher is used, it will be applied according to its specific terms. If an item is returned, refunds will reflect the actual discounted amount paid.

03

Delivery of Products

3.1 We will deliver your products to the shipping address provided at checkout within the estimated timeframes shown for your chosen delivery option, and in any event no later than 30 days after the Dispatch Confirmation.

3.2 Ownership of the products passes to you once we receive payment in full.

3.3 Risk in the products passes to you only when they are delivered into your physical possession, or into the physical possession of a person you have authorised to receive them (for example a neighbour or a named safe place you instructed at checkout or with the carrier).

3.4 Risk does not pass if goods are left in a safe place or with a neighbour unless you authorised that delivery instruction. If goods are left without your instruction, we remain responsible for them until you actually receive them.

Cooling-Off, Returns & Our 90-Day Policy

4.1 Your 14-day statutory cooling-off right: If you are a consumer, you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, email cs@grisport.co.uk or use our contact form, stating that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

4.2 If you cancel under this statutory right, we will refund the price paid and the cost of standard outbound delivery (the cheapest delivery option we offered). We will not refund any upgraded or express outbound shipping you chose. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you providing evidence of return, whichever is earlier. You must pay the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or not as described. If you use our pre-paid returns label to return the goods, a £2.50 processing deduction will be applied to cover return postage, in line with Section 4.5. This fee does not apply if the goods are faulty or not as described.

4.3 Our 90-day commercial returns policy: In addition to (and not instead of) your statutory cooling-off right, we offer a 90-day returns window from the day your order arrives, subject to the conditions below.

4.4 Condition requirements (90-day commercial returns): To qualify for a full refund or exchange under the 90-day policy, returned footwear must be unworn, unmarked, and completely clean; tried on indoors only (on clean or carpeted surfaces); and returned in its original box with all tags attached. If items or packaging are damaged beyond resale standard, a proportionate deduction may be applied to your refund. These condition requirements do not limit your statutory cooling-off or faulty-goods rights.

4.7 International returns: Customers outside the UK are responsible for return postage costs (except for faulty or misdescribed goods) and must use a tracked service. International orders are eligible for refunds only (no exchanges), and processing may take up to 28 days upon arrival at our warehouse. Your 14-day statutory cooling-off right still applies where you are a consumer.

4.8 Refund timelines: Refunds are credited back to your original payment method within 14 days of the items reaching our warehouse (typically processed within 7 working days), or sooner where the statutory cooling-off rules require it.

4.9 Promotional offers and free gifts: If your order qualified for a free gift, the gift must be returned alongside the order for a full refund—unless any retained items total £70 or more. This does not affect your statutory rights.

4.10 Third-party purchases: We can only process returns for orders placed directly via www.grisport.co.uk. Items bought through third-party stockists must be returned to the original retailer.

4.5 UK returns and free exchanges: We provide a pre-paid Royal Mail Tracked 48 label with UK parcels. Swapping sizes is 100% free of charge (including outgoing delivery of the replacement pair, subject to stock availability). If we cannot fulfil your requested size, a full refund will be processed automatically. Whenever you use our pre-paid label to return goods, a £2.50 processing deduction is applied to cover return postage, regardless of whether the return is under the 14-day cooling-off right or our 90-day commercial policy. This fee is waived for faulty or incorrect items.

4.6 Using your own carrier (UK): If you prefer to arrange your own postal carrier rather than use our pre-paid label, send items to: GRS Footwear Returns, Lunar House, 1 Easter Park, Baker Road, Nelson Park West, Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 1WQ. Return postage costs are your responsibility when using your own courier, except where you are returning faulty or misdescribed goods. Always retain proof of postage.

05

Faulty or Defective Items

5.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we have a legal duty to supply goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose (excluding normal wear and tear or misuse).

5.2 30-day right to reject: If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days of delivery and receive a full refund. Return postage is free in these circumstances.

5.3 After 30 days (and within the first six months), you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible, unsuccessful, or not provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may then claim a price reduction or reject the goods for a refund (a deduction may apply for use after the first six months).

5.4 If you believe an item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at cs@grisport.co.uk or on 01670 713344. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund and waive any return postage fees.

06

Limitation of Liability

6.1 If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us. We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, or any loss that was not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed.

6.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

07

Data Protection & Privacy

7.1 We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data provided during purchase is used strictly for order fulfillment, account administration, and customer service.

08

Governing Law & Complaints

8.1 These terms are governed by English law. You can bring legal proceedings in the English courts, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you reside there.

8.2 If you have a complaint, please email cs@grisport.co.uk, call 01670 713344, or use our contact page.
