Made in Italy from premium brown waxed Dakar leather, the Fortress combines rugged outdoor protection with a flexible, comfortable construction. Its slightly lower-cut design provides excellent ankle support without feeling overly restrictive, making it ideal for countryside walks, weekend hikes and regular year-round use.
A waterproof and breathable membrane helps keep feet dry and comfortable in changing conditions. The full bellows tongue and waterproof laces provide additional protection against water, mud and trail debris, while the durable anti-scuff toe cover shields both the leather and your toes from rocks, roots and accidental impacts.
The low-cut padded collar incorporates a soft heel cushion and anti-tendonitis slot, reducing pressure around the Achilles. A generously cushioned, articulated tongue flexes naturally with the foot, helping the Fortress feel comfortable from the very first wear.
Underfoot, the triple-density midsole absorbs walking impact for lasting comfort over longer distances. The flexible Vibram rubber outsole provides dependable traction and durability across varied terrain, while still allowing a natural and comfortable walking action.
Two-zone lacing lets you adjust the fit around the forefoot and ankle independently. Closed metal hooks and an auto-adjusting middle hook help distribute lace tension evenly, creating a secure fit that moves naturally with you.
