SUMMARY
Our legendary bestselling walking shoe, crafted in leather that becomes more individual with every adventure.
Trusted by Grisport customers for over 15 years, the Dartmoor has earned its reputation through proven comfort, dependable performance and exceptional durability. This exclusive edition enhances that much-loved design with premium Crazy Horse leather—a rugged, characterful material traditionally associated with saddlery and hard-wearing outdoor goods.
Crazy Horse leather is made from full-grain hide that has been generously hand-waxed and oiled. As the leather bends, flexes and picks up natural marks, the waxes move within its surface to create subtle variations in tone. Rather than simply wearing out, each pair gradually develops a rich and individual patina that tells the story of where it has been.
This natural process means no two pairs will look exactly alike, and some batches may appear darker than others. These variations are part of the leather’s authentic character, not imperfections.
Behind the distinctive finish is the proven performance of the Dartmoor. A waterproof and breathable Spo-Tex membrane helps keep feet dry and comfortable, while the Vibram Quantum rubber outsole provides durable grip across varied terrain. Its broad, self-cleaning lugs help shed mud, and the lightweight dual-density midsole cushions impact during longer walks.
The R-System torsion-resistant support insert adds stability across uneven ground, while the padded collar, padded tongue and removable ergonomic footbed provide lasting comfort. Minimal upper stitching, a bellows tongue and waterproof laces further improve protection in wet conditions.
Tried, tested and loved for over 15 years—now with a unique leather finish that only gets better with age.
