Exclusive to the Grisport website, the Apex is an excellent entry point into our Italian-made walking boot collection. It combines a traditional waxed-leather appearance with a lighter, more flexible construction that is ideal for lower-level walks, country paths, parks, holidays and daily dog walking.
A waterproof and breathable membrane helps keep feet dry and comfortable in changeable weather, while the bellows tongue adds protection against water, grit and trail debris. The waxed Dakar leather upper provides durability without making the boot feel unnecessarily heavy or rigid.
Grisport’s padded flex point cushions the area where the foot naturally bends, helping the Apex feel comfortable from the first wear. A padded collar and tongue provide additional comfort around the ankle, while the patented Support System holds the heel securely and improves stability as you walk.
The flexible rubber outsole provides dependable grip across everyday outdoor surfaces, while the dual-density midsole absorbs impact underfoot. Unlike our more technical trekking boots, the Apex does not use a Vibram sole; it is designed instead to offer a lighter, more flexible and affordable option for less demanding terrain.
Quick-tie upper hooks make the boot easy to secure, while waterproof laces and the double-stitched rear pull loop add practical finishing touches. At approximately 1,120g per pair, it offers reassuring leather-boot support without the weight of a more substantial trekking model.
