Part of Grisport’s modernised retro collection, the Andes revives the bold trekking style of the 1980s while incorporating the comfort and technical features today’s walkers expect. Its grey waxed-leather upper is wrapped with a full abrasion-resistant rubber rand, providing additional protection against rocks, roots and rough ground.
The waterproof and breathable membrane is enclosed within a protective bootie construction for dependable wet-weather performance. Waterproof laces and a full bellows tongue provide further defence against rain, mud and trail debris, while double-net construction adds insulation against cold and windy conditions.
Underfoot, a triple-density midsole uses expanded polyurethane between two responsive rubber layers to absorb walking impact. The removable antibacterial insole combines activated carbon with anti-shock cushioning, helping feet remain comfortable and fresher throughout longer walks.
Grisport’s patented Support System helps secure the heel and limit unwanted sideways movement over uneven terrain. Two-zone lacing allows the forefoot and ankle fit to be adjusted independently, while the Quick-Fast roller eyelet distributes lace tension smoothly for an easier, more precise fit.
The flexible Vibram Easy-Trek rubber outsole provides dependable traction and durability while allowing a natural, comfortable walking action. A softly padded collar completes a boot that feels every bit as good as it looks.
