SUMMARY

Windermere is a comfortable leather walking boot made for year-round countryside use. It has a classic look and a supple leather upper that becomes more comfortable the longer you wear it. Inside, a waterproof and breathable membrane helps protect against wet grass, shallow mud and changeable British weather.

The boot has a supportive midsole and a tread pattern designed to hold well on gravel, grass and woodland trails. Despite its sturdy feel, Windermere remains comfortable during longer days out thanks to a padded collar and tongue that reduce rubbing and pressure.

A key feature of this model is the unique lacing system which allows the wearer to adjust and tighten the boot around the ankle more than is normal, due to the two broad lacing hooks. Anyone with weak ankles can pull the laces tighter, allowing the first eyelet to lock, while tightening the second, giving a secure and solid fit.
