The honey-coloured nubuck upper gives the Sub Contractor a distinctive, contemporary workwear appearance. Tough enough for construction, engineering, agriculture and outdoor trades, it offers a more relaxed alternative to traditional black safety footwear without compromising essential protection.
Its S3-rated construction includes a 200-joule steel toe cap and an anti-perforation steel midsole, helping protect against impact, compression and sharp hazards underfoot. Anti-static properties add further workplace protection, while the upper is water resistant for up to one hour.
The Hard Work rubber outsole is heat resistant, shock absorbing and slip resistant, with a deeply defined, self-cleaning tread designed to release mud and debris. An ABS heel section helps absorb repeated impact when standing or walking on unforgiving surfaces.
Grisport’s patented Support System helps lock the heel securely in position and reduce unwanted sideways movement. Combined with the padded collar, breathable Cordura lining and removable comfort insole, it creates a supportive fit designed for long shifts and all-day wear.
A protective rubber toe bumper shields the nubuck leather from scuffs and abrasion in high-wear areas, helping the boot maintain its appearance for longer. Durable metal hooks provide secure, convenient lacing.
