A waterproof and breathable membrane works with the full leather bellows tongue and waterproof laces to help prevent water, mud and trail debris from entering the boot. The luxuriously padded leather collar provides excellent ankle support, while the specially shaped anti-tendonitis heel cushion adds comfort around the Achilles.
The Rampage’s moderately stiff sole construction provides the additional support needed for longer distances, rough terrain and backpacking. A shock-absorbing, multi-density midsole cushions every step, while Grisport’s R-System anti-twist shank helps stabilise the foot when crossing uneven ground or carrying a heavier pack.
Underfoot, the deep-cleated Vibram rubber outsole delivers dependable grip and long-lasting performance in challenging conditions. Robust metal fittings and two-zone lacing allow the fit around the forefoot and ankle to be adjusted independently, holding the foot securely throughout the walk.
