The Aztec is built on Grisport’s generous E-fitting last, providing noticeably more room across the foot and toe area while maintaining a secure, supportive heel. Available in unisex sizes 36–47, it is an outstanding choice for walkers who have struggled to find a genuinely comfortable leather boot with enough space.
What really sets this version apart is its beautiful Crazy Horse leather. Despite the name, this is not horse leather—it is premium full-grain cowhide traditionally associated with high-quality saddles. Each upper is hand-finished with oils and waxes, creating natural variations in colour and a rich pull-up effect that changes as the leather bends and moves.
Rather than looking worn out, Crazy Horse leather develops character. Marks, tonal variations and subtle scuffs gradually blend into a distinctive vintage patina, meaning every pair becomes more individual and attractive with age. Because the leather is hand-finished, no two pairs will look exactly alike. Regular treatment with a suitable leather balm or conditioner will nourish the leather and help preserve its intended appearance.
The Aztec is fully waterproof and breathable, with a leather bellows tongue and waterproof laces helping to keep water and debris outside. A double-padded leather collar and anti-tendonitis heel cushion provide luxurious support, while the triple-density midsole delivers immediate shock-absorbing comfort with no lengthy breaking-in period.
The two-zone lacing system allows separate adjustment across the foot and ankle, and the torsion-resistant midsole insert adds stability on uneven ground. Underfoot, the exclusive Vibram Ranger outsole uses broad, self-cleaning lugs to deliver dependable traction and long-lasting durability across varied terrain.
