What is Sympatex® lining? +
Sympatex® is a thin, pore-free membrane used as a boot lining. It blocks liquid water and wind while allowing water vapour to escape from inside the footwear.
Can water still get into Sympatex® lined boots? +
Yes. Waterproof lining cannot prevent water entering above the collar if you step in deep water or if gaiters are not used. Care, drying and an undamaged membrane all affect long-term performance.
