Grisport products are manufactured in the picturesque village of Castelcucco, at the foot of the Dolomite Mountains, Italy. The beautiful surroundings and the environment are tremendously important to Grisport and we aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. 70% of the power used to produce the footwear comes from solar energy from the photovoltaic plant, one of the largest in Italy, and the result of an investment of over £5 million. The new development brings us to 40,000m2 since 2018, with extra/better workspace for all employees, in a clean and bright environment. The research and design department, an integral part of the staff of over 2,000, are dedicated in bringing you the very best footwear at affordable prices.
Grisport maintains the strictest standards of eco-sustainability when selecting raw materials. In addition, the photovoltaic system on the factory roof - which covers approximately 15,000 m2- supplies 70% of the power required for production (about 850,000 kW/h per year). There is also a 700m2 "green roof" to help combat pollution, create an internal micro-climate and mitigate the visual impact of the factory.
A Charter of Human Responsibilities, or Code of Ethics, helps to ensure that the company is committed to respecting the rights, work and dignity of the 2000 people involved on all levels and in all areas of manufacturing of all products.
Grisport had implemented an effective traceability system that enables them to trace back every step in the production process so they always know which materials were used and where they came from.
