Winter walks around the UK

Winter is coming, so put on your walking boots and get out into the frosty, beautiful winter wonderlands for these great winter walks. Winter is great for walkers, walking on the crisp leaves which have fallen. Stroll through the tranquil landscapes glittering through the winter sun. So blow away the winter cobwebs and try these winter wonderland walks.

Biddulph grange garden, Staffordshire

This winter wonderland is not just any wonderland, but one with a twist. Its Egyptian garden complete with pyramids will make your walk that little different.

If you love to explore, then these gardens will be perfect for you. With 20 different varieties of holly, and great spots in the Himalayan glen to see evergreen ferns. There is an impressive group of mature monkey puzzle trees, allowing you to see some great wildlife hidden in the depths of this wonderful winterland.

Dyffryn gardens, Vale of Glamorgan

If you are looking for an Edwardian garden, then this is the place to go. It has one of the finest examples of Edwardian garden designs, including different themes throughout the walk.

Walking though romantic walkways, down winding steps and gazing out on water features. All this while walking through 55 acres of rural areas of the Vale of Glamorgan.
