Keeping your feet dry is one of our main aims. We use a variety of linings to ensure that rain water is kept out of our boots, while moisture and heat is allowed to escape. This works in the same way as human skin. In addition we use waterproof leathers in our boots and tape all internal seams as an extra precaution. All boots marked with our waterproof logo conform to British waterproofing standards.
The Support System® is an effective heel locking system designed and patented by Grisport to get perfect control of the foot through optimum adherence during all phases of movement. The fit is always comfortable and secure.

Gritex lining is our Grisport’s patented water repellent and breathable, semi-permeable membrane which gives upto 3 1/2 hours protection against rain and snow as well as protecting against the cold.
Symapatex is the lightest, most flexible, breathable waterproof membrane available and is up to 100 times more protective than British Standards. Proven not to tear at critical stress points. Prevents heat loss from wind penetration.
Vibram produce the most durable soles available. Both slip and shock-proof rubber.

Our insoles are anatomically designed for additional comfort and are treated with anti-bacterial compounds. The insoles are removable making replacement easy for people with special insole and support needs.
Our boot linings are made of tear and abrasion resistant,ladder proof mesh fabric, that is extremely breathable. This unique lining creates an aircirculation effect in our products helping to keep feet cool on long walks.
The hooks of Grisport shoes are made of steel so as to guarantee extreme resistance over time and a better slide for the laces.
The lacing of Grisport shoes guarantees even and safe grip without any particular pressure points, key to this is the self-locking hook.
Many of our designs incorporate a protective toecap.This helps prolong the life of our boots while also ensuring additional impermeability from water.
On several of our designs you will find the cushioned toe-joint. Our research has shown that this jointed area adds significantly to wearer comfort.
